PROFESSIONAL RACING DRIVER
AND INSTRUCTOR
THOMAS HORTON
Thomas's sole ambition since the age of nine has been to be a racing driver. Thanks to hard work from his parents and the occasional sponsor, he has managed to gain a great deal of experience, first racing his own kart and then from the age of 14 with his own car, and now he now works most days as a professional instructor, while continuing to develop his racing, currently in the BRSCC Airtec Motorsport Fiesta Championship.
Committed
Not a day goes by when Thomas isn't working as an instructor or developing his skills as a racing driver. Often leaving home before 5am and not returning until 9pm, he is fully committed to moving his career forward.
Experienced
On top of a karting and then car racing career, Thomas has now added well over a thousand hours of instruction in a whole range of cars. Self-employed, he works for a range of companies including Everyman Racing and Motorsport Vision. The wide variety of venues means he is familiar with every track in the south and east of England, along with major tracks elsewhere.
Talented
Always impressive in any vehicle, Thomas has proved himself against faster cars, and demonstrates excellent racecraft. He has shown himself to also be an excellent instructor, earning plaudits from the top instructors in the UK.
Reliable
Thomas is immensely hardworking and has never missed a shift in his work as an instructor. His passion for racing is something he wants to share with everyone, so he works hard to give every customer a good experience. He has been entrusted with many very high performance supercars as well as instructing drivers who need extra support, such as the visually impaired.

TEAM
We're very proud of our racing team of amazing volunteer mechanics, two of whom started with us seven years ago while they were still in college. We could not do what we do without their extraordinary skill and committment and we hope one day to carry them through to a major racing series.
Nick Garnham
Currently employed as a mechanic at Porsche Colchester, Nick loves cars and everything about them. Nick enjoys the challenge of getting the best out of a car, along with the cameraderie of the team and the paddock. Passionate about presentation, the car is always at its shiniest when Nick is around.
Mattie Hinsley
A biker through and through, Mattie's love for all things speed and his desire to gain as broad ranging a CV as possible are his defining qualities. Mattie spends his weekdays repairing HGVs for Serco and is an immensely talented mechanic for whom no job is too difficult.
Harrison Leggett
The most recent (and tallest) addition to the team, Harrison also works for Porsche Colchester and joined us after finding out about us from Nick. His huge enthusiasm and broad experience is a massive asset to the team.
In addition to his work as an instructor, Thomas is a co-founder and director of Experience Motorsport Ltd, who go into schools to deliver exciting, motorsport-themed STEM workshops to Inspire, Teach and Drive the next generation of designers and engineers.
